Honey Butter Skillet Corn (Print Version)

Corn, butter, and honey blend for a creamy skillet side, finished with a touch of seasoning and cheese.

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
02 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - 2 tablespoons honey
04 - 2 tablespoons cream cheese
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Ground black pepper, to taste

→ Optional garnishes

07 - Chopped chives
08 - Red pepper flakes
09 - Smoked paprika
10 - Shredded Parmesan cheese

# Steps:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt until it begins to sizzle.
02 - Add the corn kernels to the skillet and stir to coat evenly in the butter. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until some kernels are lightly caramelized.
03 - Drizzle the honey over the corn and stir thoroughly, letting it bubble and evenly coat the kernels.
04 - Add the cream cheese to the skillet in small dollops and stir until fully melted and the mixture achieves a creamy texture.
05 - Season with salt and black pepper to taste. If desired, finish with chopped chives, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, or shredded Parmesan as a garnish before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Using frozen corn is convenient outside of fresh corn season, but thaw and drain well for best results.
