Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, sugar and cinnamon.

Add the walnuts, eggs, oil, banana, pineapple, vanilla, coconut and cherries to the dry ingredients. Stir just until blended, being careful not to overmix.

Pour batter evenly into the prepared pans. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a loaf comes out clean.

Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
