Ham Cheese Sticks Snack (Print Version)

Buttery crescent dough wrapped around savory ham and melted cheese, finished with a golden, garlicky crust.

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
02 - 8 slices deli ham
03 - 8 mozzarella or cheddar cheese sticks
04 - 1 tablespoon prepared mustard (optional)

→ Garlic Butter Topping (optional)

05 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
08 - 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F or air fryer to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Unroll the crescent dough and divide into 8 individual sections.
02 - If desired, spread a small amount of mustard onto each dough section. Lay one slice of ham on top, folding as needed to fit. Place one cheese stick on the ham. Roll each piece tightly, folding in the sides to fully enclose the cheese and pressing the edges to seal.
03 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Brush the prepared rolls with this mixture, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
04 - Arrange rolls on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown. For air fryer preparation, cook 2–4 sticks at a time for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway. All sticks should be crisp and thoroughly heated.
05 - Allow to cool for 3–5 minutes before serving to ensure the cheese sets and prevent burns.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure the dough is well-sealed around the cheese to prevent excessive melting and leaks during baking.
02 - Customize the flavor by using different types of ham or cheese based on preference.
