Halloween Pizza Skulls Bites (Print Version)

Cheesy, sausage-stuffed pizza dough skulls perfect for a festive and flavorful Halloween treat.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 (13.8-ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough

→ Cheese and Sauce

02 - 6 tablespoons pizza sauce
03 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Meat Toppings

04 - 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage
05 - 24 slices pepperoni, chopped

06 - Nonstick cooking spray

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Generously coat each cavity of a skull-shaped cake pan with nonstick cooking spray.
02 - Unroll the pizza dough and flatten into a 15x10-inch rectangle. Slice dough lengthwise to create 6 even strips.
03 - Drape each dough strip into a prepared skull cavity, gently pressing so the dough covers the bottom and reaches up the sides.
04 - Sprinkle the bottom of each dough-lined cavity with a portion of shredded mozzarella. Spoon 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce over the cheese.
05 - Scatter 4 chopped pepperoni slices and a portion of the crumbled Italian sausage over the pizza sauce.
06 - Add additional mozzarella cheese on top of the meats. Gently fold dough edges over filling and firmly pinch seams together to seal each skull pocket.
07 - Transfer pan to oven and bake for 18-20 minutes until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
08 - Allow pizza skulls to cool in the pan for several minutes before carefully removing. Serve warm.
