05 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
06 - 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
07 - 1 large egg
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Mix-ins and decoration

09 - 1 cup white chocolate chips
10 - Green food coloring
11 - Red and green candy melts or colored sugar, for decoration

# Steps:

01 - Adjust oven rack to center position and preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, beat softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and packed brown sugar until light and creamy.
04 - Blend in egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
05 - Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients, mixing just until blended.
06 - Stir in several drops of green food coloring, mixing until desired vibrant green is achieved. Fold in white chocolate chips evenly.
07 - Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing each portion about 2 inches apart.
08 - Bake in preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes, or until cookie edges are lightly browned.
09 - Remove baking sheets from oven and immediately press red and green candy melts or sprinkle colored sugar onto cookies for decoration.
10 - Allow cookies to stand on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - Use gel food coloring for a more saturated color without affecting dough consistency.
02 - Decorations should be pressed gently on warm cookies so they adhere but do not melt completely.
