Grilled tenderloin on toasted baguette topped with Béarnaise and herbs for an elegant appetizer.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 baguette, sliced into approximately 1/2-inch pieces
02 - 1 pound beef tenderloin, trimmed
03 - Salt, to taste
04 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
05 - Olive oil, for brushing
06 - 1/2 cup Béarnaise sauce
07 - Fresh herbs, finely chopped, for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
02 - Pat beef tenderloin dry and season evenly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
03 - Place beef on the grill; cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side or until preferred internal temperature is reached.
04 - Transfer grilled beef to a cutting board and allow to rest for several minutes. Slice thinly across the grain.
05 - Brush baguette slices with olive oil on both sides. Grill for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
06 - Arrange toasted baguette slices on a serving platter. Top each with a slice of grilled beef tenderloin.
07 - Spoon a small amount of Béarnaise sauce onto each piece and garnish with chopped fresh herbs. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Allowing the beef to rest before slicing helps retain its juices, resulting in more tender slices.
