Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 2 lbs chicken tenders, thighs, or breast
02 - 2 tbsp olive oil

→ Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce

03 - 1 stick butter
04 - 8-10 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1/2 cup parmesan, grated
06 - 1 tbsp hot sauce, or more as desired
07 - 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
08 - 1/3 cup fresh parsley, minced

→ Chicken Seasonings

09 - 2 teaspoons paprika
10 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
11 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
12 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
13 - 1/2 teaspoon pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
02 - Cut chicken into 3-inch pieces, place in a bowl or zip-top bag, and toss with olive oil and combined seasonings to evenly coat.
03 - Thread chicken pieces tightly onto skewers, leaving no gaps, and trim excess skewer length if needed to fit into your cooking device.
04 - Combine butter and minced garlic in a microwave-safe bowl and heat until partially melted. Stir in red pepper flakes, hot sauce, parsley, and grated parmesan, whisking until smooth. Reserve 1/3 of the sauce for basting partially cooked chicken.
05 - Cook 2-3 skewers in an air fryer at 400°F for 5 minutes. Flip skewers, baste with reserved sauce, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Flip again, baste, and continue cooking for 5-6 more minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
06 - Apply reserved clean garlic parmesan sauce to fully cooked skewers, sprinkle with additional parmesan, and serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure wooden skewers are soaked to avoid burning.
02 - Adjust hot sauce quantity to desired spice level.
