Remove skillet from heat. Stir in crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced pickles if using. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle. Evenly spread the beef mixture over the dough, leaving a border along the edges.

Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting from one long edge. Place the roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the top of the roll with melted garlic butter for extra flavor.
