Garlic Butter Beef Rollups (Print Version)

Buttery crescent rollups filled with hearty beef and cheddar, topped with garlic butter and parsley.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 450 grams ground beef
02 - 0.5 teaspoon fine salt
03 - 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
04 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
06 - 60 grams diced onions
07 - 110 grams shredded cheddar cheese

→ Dough and Garnish

08 - 1 can (225 grams) refrigerated crescent roll dough
09 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
10 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
11 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease the surface.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced onions. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Sauté until beef is fully cooked and onions are softened, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain excess fat and allow to cool slightly.
03 - Stir in shredded cheddar cheese to the beef mixture, ensuring even distribution.
04 - Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a heaping tablespoon of beef filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
05 - Roll each triangle from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling. Place each rollup seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
06 - Combine melted butter with remaining garlic powder. Brush the tops of the assembled rollups generously with the garlic butter.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until rollups are golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley, if using.
08 - Allow rollups to cool slightly, then serve warm with dipping sauces of choice such as ketchup or ranch.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure the beef mixture is cooled before adding cheese to prevent melting and separation.
02 - Use parchment paper for easy removal and even browning.
