Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger (Print Version)

Golden pastry swirls filled with beef, bacon, sharp cheddar, and garlic butter. Perfect for snack lovers.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend preferred)
02 - 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled beef bacon (thick-cut preferred)
03 - 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
04 - Salt, to taste
05 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
06 - 1/4 cup finely chopped jalapeños, pickles, or onions (optional)

→ Dough and Topping

07 - 1 tube crescent roll or pizza dough (about 9–10 ounces)
08 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
09 - 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)

# Steps:

01 - In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef for 5 to 7 minutes, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until no pink remains. Season with salt and pepper during cooking.
02 - Drain excess fat from the cooked beef. Stir in crumbled beef bacon for even distribution. Remove the pan from heat and let mixture cool for 5 minutes.
03 - Unroll dough onto a lightly floured surface. If using crescent rolls, press seams together to form a uniform rectangle.
04 - Evenly spread cooled beef mixture over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border along one long edge. Gently press filling into the dough.
05 - Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
06 - Starting from the long edge without the border, roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seam to seal. Slice log into 1 to 1.5-inch thick rounds and place rollups cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
07 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter with minced garlic and parsley if using.
08 - Brush garlic butter mixture generously over each rollup. Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until dough is golden and cheese is bubbling.
09 - Allow rollups to cool slightly before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or adjust fillings to taste. Keep dough chilled until working for easier handling.
