01 - 8 slices soft white bread, crusts removed
02 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
03 - 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
04 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
05 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

→ For the Custard

06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 1/4 cup whole milk

→ For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating

08 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
09 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

→ For Cooking and Serving

10 - Butter for cooking
11 - Maple syrup, for serving

# Steps:

01 - Blend melted butter, 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon until a smooth spread forms.
02 - In a shallow bowl, thoroughly whisk eggs with milk until fully combined.
03 - Combine 2 tablespoons granulated sugar with 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
04 - Flatten each bread slice evenly with a rolling pin. Spread a thin layer of cinnamon butter mixture over each slice, then roll tightly.
05 - Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Dip each roll-up in the egg mixture, ensuring all sides are coated, and place seam-side down in the skillet.
06 - Cook roll-ups, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crisp on all sides, about 4-6 minutes total.
07 - While warm, immediately roll cooked roll-ups in prepared cinnamon sugar mixture to evenly coat.
08 - Arrange on a plate and serve promptly with maple syrup.

# Notes:

01 - Use soft, fresh bread for best results—stale bread will crack during rolling.
