Delicious French Dip Biscuits (Print Version)

Flaky biscuits baked around melty cheese and roast beef, served warm with savory dipping broth.

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 package (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

→ Filling

02 - 8 slices deli roast beef
03 - 8 slices provolone cheese

→ Herb Butter

04 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
05 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
09 - 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves
10 - 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
11 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Dip

12 - 1 cup hot beef broth

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking pan.
02 - Separate biscuit dough into 8 pieces, pressing each into a flat round with your fingers.
03 - Place one slice of roast beef and one slice of provolone cheese on each piece of dough.
04 - Bring the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal into a ball.
05 - Place the filled dough balls, seam-side down, into the prepared baking pan.
06 - Mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
07 - Brush the tops of the dough balls with the butter mixture. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
08 - Warm the beef broth in a small saucepan over medium heat.
09 - Serve baked biscuits warm with hot beef broth for dipping.

01 - Allow biscuits to cool slightly before serving to prevent cheese from spilling out.
