Easy Taco Crescent Ring (Print Version)

Cheesy crescent dough wrapped around seasoned beef for a fun, crowd-pleasing taco-inspired ring.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 ounce taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade blend)
03 - 1/4 cup water

→ Dough & Cheese

04 - 16 ounces crescent roll dough
05 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack cheese

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat, then stir in taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
03 - Arrange crescent dough triangles in a circle on the prepared baking sheet, with the wide ends overlapping toward the center and the points angled outward.
04 - Spoon the seasoned beef mixture evenly over the wide ends of the dough. Sprinkle most of the shredded cheese over the meat, reserving a small portion.
05 - Fold each dough point over the filling and tuck the ends securely under the center of the ring.
06 - Transfer to oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until dough is golden brown. Add the reserved cheese over the top during the final 5 minutes of baking.
07 - Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Use a pizza cutter for clean, even portions.

# Notes:

01 - Resting the ring before slicing allows the filling to set, creating cleaner cuts and easier serving.
