02 - 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
03 - 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
04 - 1/2 cup evaporated milk
05 - 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into cubes
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Steps:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
02 - In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, evaporated milk, and cubed unsalted butter. Place over medium heat and stir continuously until the sugars are dissolved and the mixture reaches a boil.
03 - Maintain a steady boil for several minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly.
04 - Remove the pan from heat. Immediately stir in vanilla extract and pecans, ensuring the nuts are thoroughly coated in the mixture.
05 - Using a spoon, quickly drop portions of the mixture onto the prepared parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them to prevent sticking.
06 - Allow pralines to cool completely at room temperature until firm before handling or serving.

# Notes:

01 - For best texture, work swiftly when spooning the praline mixture onto the baking sheet as it sets up quickly.
