Combine all-purpose flour, softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and salt in a bowl. Mix until a crumbly texture forms.

Evenly press the crumbly mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until the surface is lightly golden.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, light corn syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir in chopped pecans.

Pour the pecan mixture over the pre-baked crust and spread evenly. Return to the oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the filling is visibly set.
