Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread (Print Version)

French bread topped with garlic butter, Italian herbs, and plenty of melted cheese.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 loaf French bread

→ Dairy

02 - 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
03 - 1 cup Colby Jack cheese, shredded
04 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

→ Seasonings

05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
07 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

→ Herbs

08 - Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice the French bread loaf lengthwise and arrange both halves, cut side up, on a baking sheet.
02 - In a small bowl, combine softened salted butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning until well blended.
03 - Evenly spread the flavored butter mixture across both bread halves. Distribute shredded Colby Jack and mozzarella cheese generously on top.
04 - Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden and crisp. For a more caramelized top, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes if desired.
05 - Garnish hot garlic bread with freshly chopped parsley before slicing and serving.
