Dubliner Cheese and Apple Crostini (Print Version)

Crisp apple, melted Dubliner cheese, and toasted baguette topped with honey and walnuts.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 baguette, sliced into 12 thin rounds
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Topping

03 - 1 cup shredded Dubliner cheese
04 - 1 crisp apple, thinly sliced
05 - 2 tablespoons honey
06 - 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
07 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
09 - Fresh thyme or microgreens, for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Place baguette slices on prepared baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
03 - Bake for 7 to 8 minutes until the bread is lightly toasted.
04 - Remove tray from oven, sprinkle each slice with Dubliner cheese, then return to oven and bake for 3 to 4 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
05 - Place a thin apple slice atop each crostini, drizzle with honey, then sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, and chopped walnuts.
06 - Garnish crostini with fresh thyme or microgreens and serve immediately.

01 - For maximum crispness, toast the baguette slices just until golden and assemble crostini shortly before serving to preserve the texture.
