Doritos Chicken Casserole Bake (Print Version)

01 - 8 ounces chive whipped cream cheese, such as Philadelphia brand
02 - 10.5 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup
03 - 1 bunch green onions, chopped
04 - 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
05 - 8.75 ounces canned corn, drained
06 - 3 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 3 cups Doritos, crumbled

# Steps:

01 - Set oven temperature to 400°F (204°C) and allow it to preheat.
02 - Place chive whipped cream cheese and condensed cream of chicken soup in a large mixing bowl. Blend with an electric mixer until smooth and uniform.
03 - Reserve 1/4 cup chopped green onions. Add remaining green onions, shredded chicken, drained corn, 2 cups of shredded Mexican cheese blend, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the mixing bowl. Stir until thoroughly combined.
04 - Transfer the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch (23 x 33 cm) baking dish. Spread evenly with a spatula.
05 - Sprinkle crumbled Doritos evenly over the casserole surface.
06 - Scatter the remaining 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend and 1/4 cup reserved green onions across the Doritos layer.
07 - Place baking dish in the oven. Bake for 17–20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and beginning to brown.
08 - Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, and serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - For the best texture, use freshly shredded cheese and slightly crush Doritos just before use to preserve their crunch.
