Dorito Chicken Creamy Casserole (Print Version)

Layered chicken casserole with creamy sauce, Doritos, cheese, and a hint of taco flavor.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 4 cups crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos, plus more if needed
02 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
03 - 1/2 cup sour cream
04 - 3 cups cooked chicken, diced
05 - 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
06 - 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
07 - 1 can (10 oz) ROTEL tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
08 - 3 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese, divided

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the cream of chicken soup and sour cream.
03 - Add diced cooked chicken, taco seasoning, drained corn, and ROTEL to the bowl. Mix until evenly blended.
04 - Coat a 9x13-inch casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray. Evenly layer the bottom with crushed Doritos.
05 - Spread half of the chicken mixture over the Dorito layer. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese over the filling.
06 - Repeat layering with the remaining chicken mixture. Top with the remaining shredded cheese and a final layer of crushed Doritos.
07 - Transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the filling is bubbling. If browning occurs too quickly, cover loosely with foil.
08 - For a cheesier finish, sprinkle extra shredded cheese on top immediately before serving, if desired.

# Notes:

01 - A blend of cheddar and Mexican cheeses adds extra flavor dimension and excellent meltability.
