Dill Pickle Bacon Melt (Print Version)

Crisp bacon, melty cheese, and zesty pickles layered in buttery toasted bread for the ultimate melt.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 slices thick-cut bacon
02 - 2 slices sandwich bread
03 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
04 - 4 slices dill pickle
05 - 2 slices Swiss cheese
06 - 2 slices cheddar cheese

# Steps:

01 - Fry bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
02 - Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
03 - Place one bread slice butter-side down in a skillet over medium-low heat. Layer cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, dill pickle slices, and Swiss cheese on top. Close with the second bread slice, buttered side facing up.
04 - Cook the sandwich on medium-low heat, pressing gently, until golden brown on the bottom. Flip carefully and continue to cook until the opposite side is toasted and the cheese is fully melted.

# Notes:

01 - For a more uniform melt, cover the pan briefly with a lid to help the cheese fully dissolve.
