08 - 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

# Steps:

01 - Arrange frozen pierogies, chicken broth, sliced garlic sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and pepper into a freezer-safe bag. Remove excess air and seal tightly.

03 - Transfer contents of freezer bag directly into the slow cooker. Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours, or on low for 5 hours.
04 - Combine 1 cup chicken broth and softened cream cheese in a microwavable bowl or saucepan. Heat gently and whisk until smooth.
05 - Pour the warm cream cheese mixture over the pierogi casserole. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
06 - Scatter sliced green onions over the finished casserole before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal texture, add cream cheese mixture towards the end of cooking to prevent separation.
