Juicy beef meatballs slow-cooked in French onion broth with melted mozzarella for hearty flavor.

# Ingredients:

→ Meatball Mixture

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
03 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 onion, finely chopped
07 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Sauce and Topping

09 - 2 cups French onion soup
10 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

# Steps:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper until evenly incorporated.
02 - Shape the mixture into uniform meatballs, each approximately 1 inch in diameter, and arrange them evenly.
03 - Transfer the meatballs to the crock pot, spacing them in a single layer. Pour the French onion soup evenly over the meatballs.
04 - Secure the crock pot lid and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the meatballs are thoroughly cooked.
05 - In the final 30 minutes of cooking, evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meatballs. Re-cover and continue to cook until the cheese melts.
06 - Ladle meatballs with sauce onto serving plates and serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal texture, avoid over-mixing the meatball mixture to ensure they remain tender.
