Crispy Dry Rub Chicken Wings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Wings & Coating

01 - 2 pounds chicken wings (drummettes/split wings)
02 - 1/3 to 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, enough to fully coat

→ Dry Rub Seasoning

03 - 2 teaspoons brown sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
08 - Salt and pepper to taste
09 - Olive oil cooking spray

# Instructions:

01 - Pat the chicken wings dry thoroughly and place them in a large bowl or plastic bag.
02 - Combine the flour with all the spices and coat the chicken completely. Make sure there are no bare spots - add more seasoning if needed.
03 - Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, arrange the wings, and give them a light spray of olive oil.
04 - Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the wings and spray again with oil. Continue baking for 10 more minutes or until they're crispy and reach 165°F internal temperature.

# Notes:

01 - You can substitute regular paprika, but smoked paprika adds an amazing depth of flavor
02 - For spicier wings, add 1 to 1½ teaspoons of Sriracha, cayenne pepper, or Cajun seasoning
03 - Make sure to salt adequately - it's crucial for bringing out all the flavors
