Crispy Dill Pickle Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

A crispy, golden sandwich layered with tangy pickles and gooey melted cheese for comfort in every bite.

# Ingredients:

→ Sandwich components

01 - 4 slices white bread or sourdough bread
02 - 4 slices American cheese or cheddar cheese
03 - 8 to 10 dill pickle slices

→ Spreads and seasonings

04 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or softened butter
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Cooking fat

06 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

# Steps:

01 - Spread mayonnaise or softened butter onto one side of each bread slice. Sprinkle garlic powder evenly over the spread if desired.
02 - Place two bread slices, spread side facing down, on a clean surface. Layer each with 2 slices of cheese and evenly distribute the dill pickle slices over the cheese.
03 - Top each sandwich with a remaining bread slice, ensuring the spread faces upward.
04 - Set a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter until fully liquefied.
05 - Place the assembled sandwiches in the skillet. Cook each side for 3 to 4 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
06 - Remove sandwiches from the skillet. Slice each in half and serve immediately to enjoy while hot and crisp.

# Notes:

01 - Allow sandwiches to rest for 1 minute before slicing to avoid cheese spillage.
