# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced
02 - 4 cups potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
03 - 1 small onion, finely diced

→ Creamy Mixture

04 - 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
05 - 3/4 cup sour cream
06 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Black pepper, to taste

09 - Chopped parsley, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine cream soup, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
03 - Add sliced potatoes, smoked sausage, and diced onion to the bowl. Toss until all ingredients are thoroughly coated.
04 - Transfer the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
05 - Sprinkle remaining shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the surface.
06 - Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden and bubbling and potatoes are fork-tender.
07 - Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
