03 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
04 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
06 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

→ Base

08 - 2 cups cooked white or jasmine rice

→ Garnish

09 - 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped

→ Creamy Chipotle Sauce

10 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
11 - 1/4 cup sour cream
12 - 1 to 2 chipotle peppers in adobo, finely chopped
13 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
14 - 1 teaspoon honey
15 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
16 - Salt, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Combine shrimp with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss thoroughly to coat the shrimp evenly.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Arrange shrimp in a single layer and sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until blackened and just cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
03 - In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, chopped chipotle peppers, lime juice, honey, garlic powder, and salt until smooth and well combined.
04 - Divide cooked rice into individual serving bowls. Top each with seared shrimp and drizzle generously with the creamy chipotle sauce.
05 - Sprinkle chopped cilantro over each bowl and finish with an additional squeeze of lime if desired before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For a milder sauce, use one chipotle pepper or remove some seeds before chopping. Adjust the level of cayenne to taste.
