→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound spicy Italian sausage
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
04 - 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
05 - 1/2 large red onion, diced
06 - 6 to 7 garlic cloves, minced
07 - 1 tablespoon garlic blend seasoning (such as Mrs Dash Ultimate Garlic Blend)
08 - 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (such as Slap Ya Mama Hot Seasoning)
09 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
10 - 1/4 cup beef or chicken broth
11 - 1 cup heavy cream
12 - 3/4 to 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
13 - 25 ounces frozen cheese ravioli
14 - 1/4 cup reserved pasta water

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add spicy Italian sausage, diced red and green bell peppers, red onion, and minced garlic. Sauté, breaking up the sausage, until browned and vegetables are softened.
02 - Sprinkle in garlic blend seasoning, Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
03 - Pour in beef or chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well and allow the mixture to come to a gentle simmer.
04 - Gradually add freshly grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce achieves a creamy consistency.
05 - Cook frozen cheese ravioli according to package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water before draining.
06 - Transfer cooked ravioli and reserved pasta water to the skillet. Toss gently until all pieces are evenly coated with the sauce.
07 - Reduce heat to low. Let the ravioli simmer in the sauce for 10 to 15 minutes to thicken. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use freshly grated Parmesan as it melts more smoothly into the sauce.
02 - Simmering allows the sauce to thicken and the flavors to fully develop.
