# Ingredients:

01 - 1 bag (12 ounces) fresh cranberries
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 cup water
04 - Zest of 1 orange

# Steps:

01 - Add cranberries, sugar, and water to a medium saucepan and place over medium-high heat.
02 - Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally, cooking until most cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
03 - Remove saucepan from heat and stir in orange zest. Allow cranberry sauce to cool to room temperature before transferring to a serving dish.
