02 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
03 - 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
04 - 3 tablespoons sour cream
05 - 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
06 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Black pepper, to taste

→ For Serving

09 - 4 brioche or potato hamburger buns, toasted
10 - 4 slices American cheese or cheddar cheese
11 - Lettuce leaves
12 - Tomato slices
13 - Dill pickle chips
14 - Sliced onion

→ Optional Crack Sauce

15 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
16 - 1 teaspoon ranch seasoning
17 - 1 tablespoon pickle relish or 1 tablespoon pickle juice
18 - 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)

# Steps:

01 - In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Gently mix until just incorporated, being careful not to overwork the meat.
02 - Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty. Press a shallow indentation in the center of each to promote even cooking.
03 - Heat a griddle, cast-iron skillet, or grill over medium-high heat.
04 - Season both sides of each patty with salt and black pepper. Place patties on the hot surface and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until well browned. Flip and continue cooking for 3 to 4 minutes more until burgers reach desired doneness.
05 - During the final minute of cooking, lay one cheese slice on each patty and allow to melt.
06 - Combine mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, pickle relish or pickle juice, and hot sauce in a small bowl. Stir until smooth and refrigerate until serving.
07 - Lightly toast brioche or potato buns until golden.
08 - Spread sauce on the buns. Add lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, onion, and the cheesy burger patty. Cap with bun top and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Chilling the sauce enhances flavor. Pressing a small indentation in each patty helps them keep their shape during cooking.
