Crack Burgers Bacon Cheddar (Print Version)

Bacon, cheddar, and ranch unite with juicy ground chuck for crave-worthy burgers bursting with savory flavor.

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
02 - 3 tablespoons sour cream
03 - 2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix
04 - 1/3 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
05 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
06 - 6 hamburger buns

→ Toppings

07 - Lettuce leaves
08 - Sliced tomato
09 - Yellow mustard
10 - Mayonnaise

# Steps:

01 - In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until ingredients are just evenly distributed, taking care not to overwork the meat.
02 - Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form into hamburger patties of uniform thickness. Press a slight dimple in the center of each patty to help ensure even cooking.
03 - Preheat grill, grill pan, or skillet to medium heat. Grill the patties to preferred doneness—approximately 130-135°F for medium-rare, 140-145°F for medium, and 160°F for well-done—flipping them carefully. Allow the patties to rest a few minutes before assembly.
04 - Toast hamburger buns if desired. Place grilled patties on buns and top with lettuce, sliced tomato, mustard, and mayonnaise. Add additional toppings as preferred and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Wet hands with cold water before shaping patties to prevent sticking and create uniform shapes for even grilling.
02 - Pressing down on patties while cooking releases juices and can reduce moisture in the finished burger.
03 - Letting cooked patties rest prior to assembly improves tenderness and flavor by redistributing juices.
04 - Customize your burger with extra toppings such as pickles, onions, or avocado based on preference.
