Crabby Shrimp Stuffed Garlic Bread (Print Version)

Crusty bread bursts with creamy shrimp, garlic, and herbs. Melty, savory layers with golden, crispy crust.

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 1 loaf Italian bread, crusty
02 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

→ Seafood Filling

03 - 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
04 - 1 cup cream cheese, softened
05 - 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

→ Flavor Boosters

06 - 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
07 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Black pepper, to taste
10 - Red pepper flakes, optional

# Steps:

01 - Chop the shrimp into small, bite-sized pieces. In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, chopped fresh parsley, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and, if desired, red pepper flakes. Stir thoroughly until evenly blended.
02 - Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise. Carefully hollow out the center of each half, leaving a sturdy shell to support the filling while ensuring the crust remains intact.
03 - Evenly distribute the prepared shrimp mixture into both hollowed bread halves. Press the filling gently but firmly to ensure each slice is fully loaded.
04 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush the outer crust of the bread generously with melted butter. Wrap each filled half in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
05 - Remove the foil and return the bread to the oven. Bake for an additional 5 minutes until the crust is golden brown and crispy on the outside. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use high-quality, freshly peeled shrimp. Allow the filling to firm up slightly before slicing to keep portions neat.
