# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans to ensure easy cake release.
02 - In a large bowl, combine vanilla cake mix, sour cream, eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until batter is smooth and thoroughly blended. Gently fold in crushed Oreo cookies and granulated sugar until evenly incorporated.
03 - Divide the cake batter evenly between the prepared pans. Smooth tops with a spatula. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center emerges clean.
04 - Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove from pans and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before frosting.
