Fluffy rolls with rich cream cheese and a warm cinnamon sugar coating for a classic sweet flavor.

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
02 - 1/2 cup warm whole milk (110°F)
03 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
04 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
05 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
06 - 1 large egg
07 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

→ Filling

08 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
09 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar
10 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
11 - 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

→ Cinnamon Sugar Coating

12 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
13 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
14 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

# Steps:

01 - In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1/3 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon until smooth and fluffy. Set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, combine warm milk, active dry yeast, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Stir and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy.
03 - To the yeast mixture, add flour, salt, egg, and softened butter. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead by hand or with a dough hook for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
04 - Punch down the dough and roll out on a floured surface to a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into even squares or rectangles, as desired.
05 - Place 1 to 2 teaspoons of cream cheese filling in the center of each dough piece. Fold edges over and roll into a tight ball or log. Pinch seams closed to enclose the filling completely.
06 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange filled rolls seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing slightly apart. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
07 - Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Place rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes until puffed and golden.
08 - While the rolls are still warm, brush each roll with melted butter. Toss immediately in a mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon until evenly coated.

# Notes:

01 - For a time-saving option, substitute homemade dough with prepared crescent roll dough; ensure seams are pinched well before filling.
