# Ingredients:

→ Roll-Ups

01 - 6 slices sandwich bread, crusts removed
02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
03 - 0.25 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

→ French Toast Batter

05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 0.25 cup milk
07 - 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Cooking & Topping

08 - 1 tablespoon butter, for frying
09 - 0.25 cup granulated sugar
10 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
11 - Maple syrup or cream cheese glaze, for drizzling

# Instructions:

01 - Flatten each bread slice using a rolling pin or the back of a spoon to create an even surface.
02 - Spread softened butter evenly over each flattened slice. Combine 0.25 cup sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle over the buttered bread.
03 - Roll each bread slice tightly into a log, pressing gently to seal the edge.
04 - Whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla extract in a shallow dish until fully blended.
05 - Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, ensuring a full, even coating without oversaturating.
06 - Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place the coated roll-ups in the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, turning until golden and crisp on all surfaces.
07 - While still warm, roll the cooked roll-ups in a mixture of 0.25 cup granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon to coat fully.
08 - Drizzle with maple syrup or cream cheese glaze and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure bread is pliable but not overly moist for optimal rolling and texture.
02 - For a sweeter finish, dust with extra powdered sugar just before serving.
