Chicken Bacon Crunch Casserole (Print Version)

Layers of chicken, bacon, cheese, and tater tots create a golden, satisfyingly crunchy comfort meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 900 grams frozen tater tots
02 - 200 grams shredded cheddar cheese
03 - 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
04 - 1 can cream of chicken soup
05 - 450 grams sour cream
06 - 450 grams streaky bacon, cooked and crumbled
07 - 450 grams cooked chicken breast, chopped or shredded

→ Garnish

08 - 2 tablespoons sliced green onions
09 - 2 tablespoons reserved crumbled cooked bacon

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C. Reserve 2 tablespoons of crumbled cooked bacon for garnish.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped or shredded cooked chicken, cooked crumbled bacon, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until uniformly incorporated.
03 - Transfer the chicken mixture into a 33x23 cm (9x13 inch) baking dish in an even layer. Distribute frozen tater tots evenly over the top.
04 - Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the tater tots are crisp and golden.
05 - Remove the dish from the oven. Sprinkle reserved crumbled bacon and sliced green onions over the casserole. Serve immediately while hot.
