Golden air fryer calzones filled with creamy chicken Alfredo, melty mozzarella, and Italian flavors.

# Ingredients:

→ Calzone Filling

01 - 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
02 - 1 cup Alfredo sauce
03 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Dough

08 - 1 package (16 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
09 - All-purpose flour, for dusting

→ Finishing

10 - 1 tablespoon olive oil, for brushing
11 - 1 egg, beaten

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
03 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out the refrigerated pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick. Cut into 4 equal squares.
04 - Place about 1/3 cup of the chicken Alfredo mixture in the center of each dough square.
05 - Fold dough squares over the filling to create pockets. Firmly press edges to seal; crimp with a fork if desired.
06 - Brush the tops of the calzones with olive oil. In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush the egg wash over the calzones for a golden finish.
07 - Arrange calzones in the air fryer basket in a single layer with space between each. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
08 - Remove calzones from the air fryer and allow to cool for one minute before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure the calzone edges are tightly sealed to prevent filling from leaking during air frying.
