02 - 1/2 cup dairy-free milk
03 - 2 teaspoons maple syrup, or more to taste
04 - 1/8 teaspoon almond extract, or to taste
05 - 3 tablespoons whole chia seeds

# Steps:

01 - Puree the frozen cherries, dairy-free milk, maple syrup, and almond extract in a blender until smooth.
02 - Transfer the blended cherry mixture to a jar or airtight container and stir in the whole chia seeds thoroughly.
03 - Allow the mixture to sit for approximately 10 minutes, then stir well to disperse any clumps and ensure even hydration of chia seeds.
04 - Cover the container and refrigerate overnight or for several hours until a thick, pudding-like consistency develops.
05 - Before serving, stir the chia pudding well. Taste and adjust sweetness with additional maple syrup if preferred, then add desired toppings.
