01 - 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
02 - 8 ounces ground beef
03 - 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
04 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend cheese
05 - 1 large egg, beaten

06 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
07 - 2 tablespoons diced jalapeños

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, then stir in taco seasoning. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
03 - Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
04 - Spread cooled taco meat evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Evenly sprinkle shredded cheese and add chopped cilantro and diced jalapeños if desired.
05 - Fold one edge of puff pastry over the filling to cover and gently press to seal. Slice pastry into sticks about 1 to 2 inches wide.
06 - Arrange sticks on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
07 - Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
