Mozzarella and pepperoni over golden bread, with herbed garlic butter, baked to bubbling perfection.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 large baguette or long bread loaf
02 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce or tomato sauce
04 - 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni or preferred pizza toppings

→ Seasoning and Finishing

05 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
08 - 1 teaspoon dried basil
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Set oven temperature to 350°F (180°C) and allow to fully preheat.
02 - Cut the bread loaf in half lengthwise to create two long pieces.
03 - In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, and basil. Evenly brush the mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
04 - Spread pizza sauce evenly onto each half of the bread, covering the surface.
05 - Distribute shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauced bread. Top with pepperoni or desired toppings, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
06 - Place bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and lightly golden.

# Notes:

01 - For a crispier base, bake the bread directly on the oven rack rather than a tray.
