Mozzarella and pepperoni tucked in taco shells, crisped with basil highlight for a fun, savory twist.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 8 small soft or hard taco shells
02 - 1 cup pizza sauce
03 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
05 - 20 to 25 slices pepperoni

→ Seasonings and Oils

06 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 tablespoon olive oil, for brushing

→ Garnish

09 - Fresh basil leaves (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to reach full temperature.
02 - If using soft taco shells, lightly brush both sides with olive oil and arrange on a baking tray. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes until slightly crisp. Omit this step if using hard shells.
03 - Spoon pizza sauce into the base of each taco shell. Generously sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
04 - Layer pepperoni slices over the cheese. Evenly scatter Parmesan cheese on top and finish with dried oregano and garlic powder.
05 - Place assembled tacos on a baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is completely melted and bubbling and taco shells are golden.
06 - Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve immediately while hot.

# Notes:

01 - Soft shells yield a crispier texture after a brief bake with olive oil. Monitor closely to prevent over-browning.
