→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 cup pizza sauce
03 - 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
04 - 6 burger buns, halved
05 - 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink, breaking up the meat as it cooks. Drain off excess fat.
03 - Add Italian seasoning. Stir in pizza sauce and simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
04 - Arrange halved burger buns, cut side up, in a single layer on a baking sheet.
05 - Spoon the beef and sauce mixture evenly onto each bun half. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
07 - Top each with the remaining bun halves and let cool slightly before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, toast the buns before assembling. To prevent sogginess, drain beef thoroughly after browning.
