# Ingredients:

01 - 250 grams all-purpose flour
02 - 13 grams granulated sugar
03 - 12 grams baking powder
04 - 2 grams baking soda
05 - 3 grams fine salt
06 - 2 grams garlic powder
07 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh herbs (such as thyme, chives, or parsley)

08 - 115 grams sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
09 - 240 millilitres buttermilk
10 - 60 grams unsalted butter, melted
11 - 1 large egg

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 175°C. Grease a standard loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, and chopped fresh herbs until well combined.
03 - Fold the shredded cheddar cheese evenly into the dry mixture.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, melted butter, and egg until homogenous.
05 - Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; do not overmix.
06 - Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center emerges clean.
07 - Allow bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
