Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Place the seasoned chicken breasts into the hot skillet and sear undisturbed for 5 to 6 minutes per side, achieving a golden-brown crust and cooking through. Remove the chicken and set aside.

Pour ranch dressing and heavy cream into the same skillet. Using a wooden spoon, deglaze by scraping up any browned bits. Stir constantly over medium heat for about 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Return chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon sauce over each piece. Distribute crumbled bacon evenly over the chicken and top with shredded cheddar cheese. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until cheese is fully melted and bubbling. Optionally, broil briefly for additional browning.
