Cheesy Bacon Chicken Quesadilla (Print Version)

Grilled tortilla with cheddar, bacon, ranch, crisped golden and served with lettuce and tomatoes.

# Ingredients:

→ For the Quesadillas

01 - 2 flour tortillas
02 - 1 teaspoon unsalted butter
03 - 1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
04 - 1/4 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
05 - 1 tablespoon ranch dressing

→ Toppings for Serving

06 - 1/2 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
07 - 1/3 cup fresh tomatoes, diced

# Steps:

01 - Place a skillet over medium heat. Add butter to the pan and swirl until fully melted.
02 - Lay one tortilla in the skillet. Evenly distribute grated cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the surface. Drizzle ranch dressing across the filling, then top with the second tortilla.
03 - Allow the bottom tortilla to cook until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes. Carefully flip the quesadilla and toast the other side until cheese is melted and both sides are crisp, about 2 more minutes.
04 - Transfer quesadilla to a cutting board and let rest for 1 minute. Slice into wedges.
05 - Plate with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes on the side. Serve warm; optionally, accompany with additional ranch dressing.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal results, use medium heat to ensure the cheese melts evenly before the tortillas toast too quickly. Resting briefly before slicing allows the melted cheese to settle.
