Cheesesteak Pizza (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 16 ounces pizza dough
02 - ½ cup pizza sauce

→ Toppings

03 - 6-8 ounces shaved beef steak
04 - 6 ounces grated mozzarella cheese
05 - ½ green pepper, chopped
06 - ½ white onion, chopped
07 - 4 ounces Provolone cheese, chopped
08 - ½ cup Cheez Whiz, warm

→ Seasonings

09 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt
10 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
11 - ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
12 - Fresh chives, for garnish

→ Homemade Pizza Dough (Optional)

13 - 3 cups bread flour
14 - 2 tablespoons sugar
15 - 1 tablespoon kosher salt
16 - 2 teaspoons active dried yeast
17 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
18 - 1 ¼ cup warm water
19 - Extra flour, for kneading

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 500˚F (260°C).
02 - Roll out pizza dough and shape it onto a 16-inch pizza pan.
03 - Spread pizza sauce over the dough in an even layer. Add more sauce if desired.
04 - Layer mozzarella cheese, chopped peppers, onions, and shaved steak on top. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
05 - Bake for 8-10 minutes until pizza edges begin to brown and steak is cooked.
06 - Remove pizza from oven, top with provolone cheese, and return to oven until cheese is blistered and crust is browned and crisp.
07 - Drizzle with warm Cheez Whiz and garnish with minced chives.
08 - Slice and serve while hot.
