# Ingredients:

→ Pasta and Proteins

01 - 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
02 - 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

→ Aromatics and Vegetables

03 - 1 bell pepper, diced
04 - 1 onion, diced
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced

→ Sauce and Seasoning

06 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
07 - 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
08 - 1 cup heavy cream
09 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
10 - Salt, to taste
11 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Garnish

12 - Chopped parsley for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until just pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet and keep warm.
03 - In the same skillet, add diced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are softened and aromatic.
04 - Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the vegetables and stir well. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, allowing the mixture to thicken slightly for 2-3 minutes.
05 - Return cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the skillet. Add grated Parmesan and toss thoroughly until pasta and shrimp are evenly coated in sauce.
06 - Taste and adjust with salt and black pepper as needed. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan and freshly ground black pepper. Adjust Cajun seasoning to control spice level.
