# Ingredients:

→ Base Layer

01 - 1 package (16 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

→ Cream Cheese Layer

03 - 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
04 - 1 cup powdered sugar
05 - 1 cup whipped topping

→ Peanut Butter Layer

06 - 1 cup peanut butter
07 - 1 cup Butterfinger candy bars, crushed

→ Chocolate Pudding Layer

08 - 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
09 - 2 cups milk

→ Optional Topping

10 - Additional whipped topping, for garnish
11 - Extra Butterfinger candy bars, crushed, for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Combine the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies with melted unsalted butter in a medium bowl. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated, then press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form a compact crust.
02 - In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fully incorporated.
03 - Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the prepared cookie crust. Gently spread the peanut butter on top of the cream cheese layer and sprinkle with crushed Butterfinger bars.
04 - In a clean bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened. Pour the pudding over the Butterfinger layer and spread evenly to cover.
05 - Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for optimal texture.
06 - Before serving, top with additional whipped topping and extra crushed Butterfinger bars if desired. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

# Notes:

01 - For clean layers, chill after each layer is added and wipe utensils between uses.
02 - It is best to use full-fat dairy ingredients to achieve a rich, creamy texture.
