Butterfinger Caramel Bars Oat (Print Version)

Chewy bars with Butterfinger, caramel, oats, and chocolate in every bite.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust and Topping

01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
02 - 1 cup rolled oats
03 - 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
04 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

→ Filling

07 - 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
08 - 1 cup Butterfinger candy bars, chopped (about 4 to 5 bars)

→ Finishing

09 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt. Incorporate melted butter and mix until crumbly.
03 - Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to create an even crust.
04 - In a separate bowl, stir together sweetened condensed milk and chopped Butterfinger bars. Spread this mixture evenly over the crust layer.
05 - Distribute the remaining crumb mixture over the Butterfinger layer and gently press down.
06 - Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the surface is golden brown. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
07 - Once bars have cooled, melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the bars.
08 - Allow the chocolate to set before cutting into squares.

# Notes:

01 - For easier cutting, refrigerate bars for 15 minutes after adding the chocolate drizzle.
