Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham (Print Version)

Brown sugar and pineapple bring sweet, tangy flavor to juicy ham baked until perfectly caramelized.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 cups diced cooked ham
02 - 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained, 1/4 cup juice reserved

→ Glaze

03 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
04 - 2 tablespoons Dijon or yellow mustard
05 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
06 - 1/4 cup reserved pineapple juice
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
08 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, mustard, soy sauce, reserved pineapple juice, and ground cloves until smooth.
03 - Add diced ham and drained pineapple chunks to the prepared baking dish. Pour glaze evenly over and gently stir to coat all pieces.
04 - Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes or until ham is thoroughly heated and the edges caramelize to a deep golden brown.
05 - Serve hot, ideally over rice, roasted vegetables, or alongside a fresh salad.

# Notes:

01 - For a subtle aromatic note, use ground cloves sparingly—they intensify as the dish bakes.
