# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound baby carrots or sliced carrots
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter
03 - 1/4 cup light or dark brown sugar
04 - Salt, to taste
05 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
06 - Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

# Steps:

01 - In a large pan over medium heat, combine carrots, butter, and brown sugar. Stir occasionally to coat carrots and prevent scorching.
02 - Continue cooking until the butter and sugar mixture thickens to a shiny glaze, stirring to ensure even coating.
03 - Season the glazed carrots with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook until the carrots are tender and evenly coated.
04 - Transfer the glazed carrots to a serving dish and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
